Where to take the ferry from Brač to Split

Ferries to Split depart from 4 ports on the island of Brač:

• The port of Bol is on the southern shores of Brač, near the main seafront promenade in town center. Within walking distance of the port, you will find restaurants, cafés, shops, ATMs, accommodations, and the local bus station.
• Milna is on the west coast of Brač, with the port situated close to the town center. As the port is directly beside Milna’s waterfront promenade, you can easily reach it on foot from most central accommodations.
• Sutivan is locaced on the northwest side of Brač. In the areas around the waterfront, you will find plenty of with cafés, restaurants, and shops.
• The port of Supetar, on the north coat of Brač, is the island’s main port, located a short walk from the town center. The main bus station is just 2 min from the terminal, and there are plenty of services nearby, including eateries, shops, and kiosks.

How to get to the ports of Brač

• Bol: ferries depart from Bol harbor, on the waterfront, which a short ’ walk from the center and the local bus station. You can also reach the port by local bus, taxi or car from other parts of Brač. Bol is about 35 km from Supetar, and the drive normally takes around 45–55 min.
• Milna: catamarans leave from the quay in Milna, next to the seafront promenade. The port is in the center of town and easily reached on foot from nearby hotels, restaurants and cafés. You can travel to Milna by bus, taxi or car from Supetar and other island settlements. Supetar is about 20 km away and the drive usually takes around 30 min.
• Sutivan: seasonal passenger services depart from Sutivan harbor, directly beside the town center and within walking distance of the waterfront’s cafés, restaurants, shops and accommodation. You can get there by local bus, taxi or car. Sutivan is around 8 km from Supetar, with the drive normally taking 10-15 min.
• Supetar: ferries depart from Supetar ferry port, the main port on the island, on the eastern side of the central waterfront. The bus station is immediately beside the ferry terminal, with connections to Bol, Sutivan, Milna, Postira, Pučišća and other island destinations. Taxis are normally available near the port, while car-rental agencies, ticket offices, cafés, shops and a newsstand can be found nearby. Most central hotesl are a 5 to 15-min walk from the port.

Important: the catamarans serving the Brač - Split routes are foot passenger only, so keep in mind that if you decide to drive to the port, parking is limited in the surrounding areas, especially in the summer.

Where does the ferry arrive in Split?

Ferries from Brač typically dock at port of Split (Trajektna luka Split) in the city’s central harbor. The ferry port is around a 10-min walk from the Riva waterfront and the entrances to Diocletian’s Palace, and around 24 km from Split Airport.

The port area has ferry-company ticket offices, cafés, bakeries, fast-food outlets, shops, ATMs, luggage storage, taxis, car-rental desks, and nearby hotels.  Split’s main intercity bus station and railway station are directly beside the harbor, making it easy to continue your journey without crossing the city.

• Trains: Split Railway Station is right next door to the bus terminal, offering train service toward Zagreb.
• Split Airport: if you are catching a flight, official airport shuttle buses depart from the bus terminal every 30 min and arrive at Split Airport (SPU) in roughly 35-40 min.
